January 2026 Schottenstein center Events Guide: Columbus Concerts, Shows and Games
Looking for a killer night out this January? Well, look no further than Value City Arena at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus. This place is no stranger to hosting big names and unforgettable moments. In recent years, you might have caught Beyoncé electrifying the stage or Elton John bringing his legendary flair. And it’s not just concerts, the arena is a hot spot for college basketball fans too, hosting NCAA First and Second Rounds in 2026 that had the crowd buzzing. Back in 2014, Katy Perry lit up the arena with her colorful spectacle, drawing a massive sea of fans, and in 2017 Ohio State made some serious noise during the NCAA Tournament. If you’re aiming for the best seats, courtside during playoffs is where the real magic happens, though the family area is also great if you want a more relaxed vibe and safety is a priority. The arena’s giant illuminated signage at night is pretty much impossible to miss, making it easy to find your way. Planning a pre-game meetup? Just remember to check parking policies so you’re not left scrambling. Whether you're into front-row action at a concert or grabbing affordable tickets for Buckeyes hockey, this venue guarantees a memorable experience. Honestly, every event here feels like a special night out, you never know what kind of awesome moments are just around the corner.
